Heat up some oil in a frying pan/skillet and add your onions. Sauté for a few minutes and then add your sliced beef.
Add all your seasoning including meat or steak seasoning, smoked paprika, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Continue to cook.
Add your green pepper and butter. Cook for a further 3-5 minutes. Remove from heat.
Grab an oven dish and lightly spray with oil to prevent sticking. Add your bread that you have sliced down the middle and leave the top to a side.
Add your melted cheese at the bottom, then layer it with the meat, then add grated cheese and top with a tbsp of the melted cheese. Place the top half of the bread on top, brush with the garlic butter.
Cover with foil and bake in a preheated oven at 190°C for 10-12 minutes.
