Add the cubed lamb to the pan and cook until browned on all sides.
Season with ground cumin, coriander, turmeric, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
In a separate pot, melt 2 tbsp of butter over medium heat. Add the rinsed basmati rice and toast for 2 minutes.
Pour in the chicken broth, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cover. Simmer until rice is cooked and liquid is absorbed.
